Loom (Naive, Inc.) is developing an online accounting tool made with small businesses in mind. The solution is focused on providing business owners with accurate, real-time insights into their business performance. Loom integrates popular services such as Shopify and Square to make the import of accounting data as accurate as possible. We also incorporate data from your bank account transactions with a trusted service (Plaid). Loom makes it easy for any small business to close their books.
Role: Lead UX Engineer
Team: 3 Members, founder, back-end developer, and myself
Projects: Design & Development of UI/UX, Financial Data Visualization, Setup of Third-Party OAuth Flows and APIs
Voyager Space Technologies
Voyager Space Technologies, Inc is developing a cloud-based, collaborative, systems modeling tool that allows companies to design hardware much faster than current methods. Our platform uses AI to generate iterative trade studies and identify the best-fit components based on the mission the satellite will be performing.
Role: Lead UX Engineer
Team: 9 Members from both business and various development and engineering backgrounds

Spot
Spot is a mobile application that aims to make parking in congested areas easier and more efficient by allowing people to give their parking and its location directly to someone else.
Role: Graphic Designer & Web Developer
Team: 5 Members from COGS 160 (Seminar on Special Topics - Civic Design) centered on the D4SD design competition
Projects: Development of Website documenting design process, Poster for Design Forward Summit

Vested is a virtual coin jar app that allows you and your friends to save money towards a common goal. It allows you to create jars where you can invite your friends and track your progress towards a goal, whether that's raising money for a trip to Hawaii, gathering money for a friend's birthday gift, etc. You can see how much you're budgeting for a goal, how far you're away from your goal, and how your friends are contributing by keeping them accountable. Vested combines the financial and social world to build relationships with one another.
Role: Project Manager, UI Design and Development
Team: Ranging from 4 to 10, started in COGS 187A (Usability & Info. Architecture) and continued as Independent Study project
